The NFL vs Dan Orlovsky

🏈 The upcoming Hulu documentary on Bill Belichick and North Carolina football has been canceled. It’s a real shame because following Belichick’s disastrous tenure would actually be one of the most compelling watches in years, but it's more proof that most documentaries are just fancy PR pieces. Speaking of UNC, don’t overlook the role of Michael Lombardi in the Tar Heel free fall.
🏀 Lenny Kravitz will be the NBA version of Carrie Underwood on NBC, but don’t worry, you will still hear plenty of Roundball Rock.
⚾ The World Baseball Classic will be making a return to Fox Sports for the next edition of the tournament next year.
⚾ FS2 getting postseason baseball after a rain delay impacted coverage may be the most significant moment in the anonymous network’s history outside of showing Australian Rules Football.
Buying Cannabis Online Is Now Legal, And Incredibly Convenient
For years, buying cannabis meant taking a trip to a dispensary, dealing with long lines, limited selection, and inconsistent pricing. But thanks to changing laws and innovative online retailers, buying high-quality THC products is now 100% federally legal—and more convenient than ever.
And when it comes to quality and reliability, Mood is leading the way…
Because they’ve completely flipped the script on cannabis shopping. Instead of memorizing hundreds of confusing strain names – like “Gorilla Glue” and "Purple Monkey Breath" – you simply choose how you want to feel: Creative, Social, Focused, Relaxed, Happy, Aroused, and more.
Each gummy is formulated with the perfect blend of Delta-9 THC and botanicals to deliver the perfect mood.
Want a great night’s sleep? Try the Sleepytime gummies. Need laser focus Mind Magic gummies have you covered. Hotter sex? Try the Sexual Euphoria gummies.
It's cannabis shopping that actually makes sense for “normal” people.
🚨 LEADING OFF 🚨
The NFL vs Dan Orlovsky

Edit via Liam McGuire
The NFL lies somewhere in the middle when it comes to its progressive stance on videos and highlights on social media. The league certainly isn’t the NBA, where it has a mostly clear and open policy for accounts showing highlights and game action. But they aren’t quite as hostile as FIFA or the Olympics.
Given the league’s massive popularity, it seems hard to fathom that an ESPN analyst breaking down game footage on his social media platform could make a dent in the NFL business model. But that appears to be the case with what has happened this week with Dan Orlovsky.
Orlovsky has recently ended his practice of offering video breakdowns of plays on his social media profile that were enjoyed by fans and followers alike. Why? He says it’s because the NFL put the kibosh on it.
For @Titans fans and since I’m not allowed to post video on here anymore
Go watch:
1q 814 & 2q 342
2q 1412/2q 215/2q102
2q 453Some outstanding throws and 3-4 are drops. Wasn’t just 4th qtr

Networks have to pay a handsome rights fee to use NFL highlights. So do some individuals. (Just ask Pat McAfee.) And with good reason, they are the most valuable video footage in sports and maybe even all of entertainment in 2025. The NFL is by far the most popular league in the country, and fans can’t get enough. But for a league that is always trying to grow and reach new fans, it seems a bit counterintuitive to shut down something harmless like one of the game’s most recognizable analysts… well, analyzing the NFL.
It especially doesn’t make sense given that multiple other NFL analysts and personalities are still breaking down footage on social media as we speak. Why is Dan Orlovsky’s case any different than Brian Baldinger's? Or Chase Daniel? Or J.T. O’Sullivan? Or Matt Bowen? The list goes on and on.
If there were a consistent policy or red line the NFL could point to, it would be helpful to understand what is going on. Regardless, surely the NFL has better things to do than clamp down on Dan Orlovsky’s social media page, providing helpful and informative content that diehard fans love to consume… right?

If you were one of the people who bought exorbitantly priced Lakers tickets after LeBron James teased a “second decision” on social media, thinking it was a retirement announcement… we’re so, so sorry.

It looks like Taylor Swift won’t be doing the Super Bowl halftime show until Travis Kelce is done with his playing career.
This is a lie. Travis Hunter practiced on both sides of the ball at Colorado. Coach Prime even had Travis practice exclusively on offense for nearly an entire spring football to refine his skills as a WR. Then practiced him at Corner for a day and he had 3 ints. Just let him play

Eli Manning may have gotten some bad information from Jaguars head coach Liam Cohen about Travis Hunter’s Colorado practice schedule.

“I’m going to say his name tonight. Kyren Lacy was innocent. Kyren Lacy should be here with us.” - Ryan Clark shared an emotional message on behalf of Kyren Lacy after a new video was released in the case surrounding the late LSU star.
“I don’t get it. NBA, what are you doing? Why aren’t you promoting this guy?” - Marc Spears is wondering why the NBA isn’t doing more to hype the debut of former Duke star Cooper Flagg.
"Get back to playing the game of baseball, teaching the game of baseball, and stop depending on iPads.” - Alex Rodriguez is not a fan of the New York Yankees using analytics. If only there were something that could teach them how to pitch to Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Paul Finebaum vs ESPN

Screengrab via ESPN
Just as quickly as chaos was unleashed in Paul Finebaum’s relationship with ESPN on Monday, it quickly subsided on Tuesday as things returned to business as usual. But is the relationship fully healed, or is this just a temporary truce?
On Monday, Clay Travis reported that Finebaum had been banned from ESPN airwaves after declaring his interest in a possible United States Senate run representing the state of Alabama. Travis would seem to have decent sources close to Finebaum. After all, the college football radio host gave the conservative influencer the exclusive announcement even though he could have done it at any moment on his own eponymous show.
But ESPN quickly pushed back, insisting that Finebaum's missing his weekly appearances on First Take and SportsCenter was much ado about nothing. And ESPN made good on their position that no ban was in place with Finebaum back on Get Up and First Take on Tuesday morning.
What really happened between Paul Finebaum and ESPN? There may only be a small circle of people who actually know what is fact, what is fiction, and what may be a full or partial truth. Both sides are claiming victory after Finebaum’s ESPN return.
However, it doesn’t alter the reality that Finebaum went outside of ESPN to discuss an entry into conservative politics with one of ESPN’s harshest critics about a potential future in politics. And soon after, he was positioned by conservatives as being silenced by Woke Disney even as he refused to address the controversy himself.
While things may be peaceful for now between Paul Finebaum and ESPN, don’t expect this to be the end of the saga.
